Ijen crater is a beautiful crater lake located on the summit of Ijen volcano, Banyuwangi, East Java. The crater is not only beautiful, but also has two famous activities: sulfur mining and blue fire.

Sulfur mining is done traditionally by local miners. They hike daily, early morning before sunrise to the crater lakeside to chip away at the hardened sulfur blocks. They carry about 150 pounds of sulfur in reed baskets on their shoulders.

The photo is printed on a durable matte paper, the same paper used in most museums and art galleries.
